Google Goggles App Review

Google Goggles is a great app for the android and iPhone that enables users to search from their cell phone simply by snapping a photo. This technology currently supports photo-based searching for: books, DVDs, landmarks, logos, contact info, artwork, businesses, products, barcodes, and plain text. This works by capturing the image, which Google breaks down into object-based signatures. It then compares those signatures against every item it can find in its image database. Within seconds, it returns the results to you, ordered by rank. Google inc. created this app in order to enhance its search experience, by offering picture recognition; users are able to search for exactly what they’re looking for. Unfortunately, the search is limited and often lead to inaccurate results.

Verdict: Never the less this is still an exceptional app that offers a better searching tool than anything available on the market. Despite some drawbacks, this app is still highly recommended and deserves a
